What We Do
Welcome to the Intimacy Professionals Education Collective (IPEC), where we believe that intimacy is more than just a performance, it’s a craft. Our unique approach gives our clients the tools and techniques to understand and master physical storytelling using the body as a tool for performance. We pride ourselves on building a network of peers and promoting a culture of learning where inclusivity is a top priority.
We provide wholistic training that takes a people-first approach, ensuring the unique needs of each individual are met. Our training is designed to produce well-rounded professionals who are equipped with the knowledge and skills to create meaningful connections with each other.
Our policies and practices prioritize accountability and transparency, so that our clients can trust us to uphold the highest standards in the industry, and. we are committed to empowering intimacy professionals by broadening the scope of their practice beyond traditional ID's and IC's. We strive to create a safer space for new leaders and performers to build their career. With IPEC, you can expect to be part of a community that values curiosity and continuous learning.
Vision Statement
At IPEC, our vision is to uplift and support every professional’s individual growth in the expanding field of intimacy and consent, recognizing the progress and discoveries already made on the way. We are continuing to explore inclusive and progressive practices, and further engaging in institutional and structural changes within the entertainment industry. We want to become an open resource to the community and industry, a network of peers, all believing that embodied consent is a path for creating art that best supports all involved.
Who We Are
The history of intimacy work as a practice is relatively new, IPEC is proud to be making a step in that story. We responded to the challenges of the entertainment industry by creating a modular-based syllabus for intimacy work that fulfilled SAG/AFTRA accreditation standards while still reflecting our own professional standards. Founder, Rachel Flesher, felt the calling to take what they were already doing in the learning space, but wanted a collective approach. Jyreika Guest & Charlie Baker came in to help build the syllabus that they felt build good foundations.

Starting in 2022, the team became Rachel Flesher, Jyreika Guest, Charlie Baker, & Jessica Bennett to put forward the foundational steps to make this collective a reality. We cannot wait to share with you our full team of leaders, instructors, & associates.
Our journey has been one of learning, growth, and dedication. We are thrilled to offer a program that prepares intimacy professionals for real-world experiences and gives them the tools they need to succeed.
